Why I take so many pictures of statues.

I'm finding very it difficult to communicate with people, the great art of pretending has become less about creation and manipulation and is now a delicate and strenuous task.

Statues are easier to manipulate, they stay still and creating emotion in them is a great challenge as they cannot act, they are motionless and frozen in time, I like to bring them to life. It also saves me from having to speak, from having to try and from having to pretend.
